For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved crayons—as well as markers, colored pencils and fountain pens.  I wasn’t the kid that spent hours playing outside with the neighbors, or the young girl that joined the cheerleading squad or dance team—I, on the other hand, was a child that dedicated endless hours to scribbling and sketching on every type of surface available to me— whether it was regular wide- or college-ruled lined paper, construction paper, or even graphing paper when math class was boring.  For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an artist—I just didn’t know it until a couple of years ago.

I am not a fine artist.  I am a graphic artist.  I have been ever since I put pen to paper.  My parents noted my interest in the arts since I was very young, and being that my father was an artist himself, they always encouraged my creativity--although they always put a strong importance in education.  As a result, they provided me with the opportunity to attend the University of Miami after completing high school, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, and a Bachelor in Arts, emphasizing on Graphic Arts.  The combination of my two degrees, in additional to my minor in Marketing, has provided me with an profound understanding in marketing theories and design concepts, but knowledge is useless if it's not put into practice, and since then, I have gathered "real world" experience from running a printing company in South Florida.  Although the experience gathered from running a company is invaluable, the artist in me was starving.  I finally realized that I must find a creative outlet, while putting to use the great "business" experience I have gathered.  Now, nearly six years later, I have decided to “take the leap," feed my inner artist and have formed Purplebox Design.

The purpose of Purplebox Design is simple—to offer unique and original design and concepts to business owners, as well as to the event planning industry.  It is a known fact that businesses need advertising and "out-of-the-box" concepts, but after being a “bridezilla” and “babyzilla” myself, I realized the lack of "custom" and "creative" concepts in the event planning industry.  So whether you are looking to form your corporate brand, or come up with a quirky birthday invitation for your one-year old, Purplebox Design was formed with you in mind.

Very Truly Yours,

Meet Noah Anthony Jones

My life was forever changed on a gorgeous day in May of 2009. My parents always told me that no love comes close to the love a parent feels for their child and boy were they right! Having my son has taught me to love in ways I had never known. He has softened my heart, and lifted my spirit. After his entrance into our world, the motivation I have gained is incredible, and I have pushed myself to extreme limits because I want to provide him with the best! No matter where this road leads me, he is the reason why I took my first steps, and, regardless of the outcome, it’s worth every sleepless night and exhausting long day. My son is my life, my heart, and my inspiration.
